Ishan Chattopadhyaya
I am a 4th year student of B.Tech (IT) in United College of Engineering & Research, Allahabad. I am placed in Infosys, and have an internship at AOL awaited. And, I am a GSoC student for GNOME. Born in Cambridge (UK) and brought up in Allahabad (India), I have been interested in computers ever since 1993, when Mom/Dad got me a cool new 486 computer that had 4MB RAM, 200MB hard drive, 33MHz Intel 80486 processor, a floppy drive and a mouse. It could run DOS 6.22 and later on I installed Windows for Workgroups 3.11 !! I did my schooling in St. Joseph’s College, Allahabad. I am a proud Josephite for the rest of my life.
My hobbies, apart from computer stuff, includes playing chess, solving the Rubik’s Cube, Stamp Collection, Watching F1 and other sports, Roller Skating etc.
My best friends at college are Mitali Jha, Manas Mani Tripathi, Abhishek Mathur, Brijesh Pandey, Vivek Narang, Anshul Kesarwani. I really value your friendship, without whom I would have been totally worthless in college life.
